Barrel Oil Corp (Barrel Oil) promotes a workplace in which all Prime Contractors, supervisors, workers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, self‐employed persons, temporary staffing agencies, visitors and the public (our stakeholders) respect one another and work together to achieve common goals. Barrel Oil also believes that our personnel are valuable assets to be treated fairly, paid adequately and hired or promoted without discrimination by reason of race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, marital or family status, political belief or physical handicap.

Barrel Oil is committed to providing an environment that enables all personnel to pursue their careers free from any form of harassment, discrimination or violence contrary to law. Barrel Oil commits to informing all personnel of their rights and obligations, training personnel in the Policy and assigning responsibility for implementing this Policy.

Any act of (or participating in) harassment or violence against any personnel is prohibited on the part of all workplace parties who have a contractual agreement or other privileges with Barrel Oil, including all of our stakeholders. Personnel who are found to be engaging in harassment or violence will be subject to progressive disciplinary action up to and including discharge/termination. All incidents will be investigated, and appropriate control measures will be put into place.

All personnel are required to act in accordance of prevailing Provincial and Federal Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Acts, Regulations and Codes, which outline obligations to ensure that no stakeholders are subjected to, or participate in harassment or violence at the work site.

In order to keep this Policy current, it will be reviewed annually.
